Sidecar variant made with 1976 Nismes-Delclou Armagnac. Omakase indeed.
A real (palate) killer as my last drink in Ben Fiddich and in Tokyo. 3/4 ingredients are >45% ABV, but that aside, it's amazing. Oily, sweet, spicy, and a tiny bit salty.
Matsusaka teppanyaki tonight, with a slice of A5 Kobe beef to go with it. Amazing, with a half-bottle of Barolo.
Oh my. Vault Coffee is…awful. I've never seen Cup of Excellence beans abused in such a manner.
Similarly, it's rare to see, on an open counter, dishcloths being boiled in detergent next to the kettles containing water for brewing coffee. In a closed kitchen, I'm sure it happens, but when everyone can see?!…
