@matigo You mean you don't have a backup? :P
6 months ago:
> Me: Let's use a collaborative editing solution for this so we're not emailing stuff back and forth with impossible-to-track changes.
Boss: Nah, my Dropbox is full and I prefer emailing things anyway.
Me: Okay then…
Yesterday:
> Boss: So the spreadsheet I sent you 6 weeks ago and the one you sent me a few days ago don't match up.
Me: Uh huh.
1 hour later, I still don't get how she arrived at the sum total she did, because, running a sum on the same column in either sheet, I can't reproduce her result. And she didn't explain her method. So I'm confused and it's probably going to be a huge waste of time for both of us.
Knew this would happen.
@matigo There was just too much noise and too many people, really. Doesn't help that my family in general doesn't have the same concept of "indoor voice" as I do — my indoor voice is their "taboo subject" voice (though that might be more a reflection on my conversations than anything else…).
So it was just giving me a headache, and I'd already had an eventful day.
"K-culture" in the capital of Korea. Who would've thunk it.
3 conversations and the TV around me.
Nice to have dinner with the grandparents, but add in the others and it becomes draining even after just half an hour.
And I despise HK TV, only slightly less than Chinese and Japanese TV, and indeed just about every other country's TV stuff.
