Well quite.

Pretty much. Decent Montreal-style smoked meat but just small slices of some cheese.

Think I've found a place for poutine in HK. Hope it's good, haven't had any in years.

Some USB device is preventing my MBA from sleeping properly at night. Always drained in the morning. Why can't a device that's asleep stay asleep? Damn.

Pinot Noir on a breezy winter's night. Heavenly. Au Bon Climat "Knox Alexander" Pinot Noir, 2008: perhaps a tiny bit past its prime. Great balance between ripe sweetness and fresh acidity, with gentle tertiary notes coming in towards the finish; tannins are already faded.

A building that's only 70 years old? Not bad!

Seafood Room is excellent. Sea bream cooked to perfection, warm water instead of something almost frozen, steamed milk served with the surprisingly decent coffee (long black by default).

And a really affordable set lunch menu :o works out to just under 30 USD.

Happy birthday!

To wake up to good coffee…ah. Good to be back.

Being born is like a higher power clearing the cache.
