That better bar stopped serving early. No surprise there. Pleasant surprise though, they're open for 4 hours a night for the next 3 nights too — probably one of the few to do so.
Quite a bit into 2017 now and I'm not convinced. Let's see if that other, better bar is open.
Possibly my last drink of the year. Not a fancy one, just a barrel-aged gin martini. Unfortunate that this may be my last cocktail in Tokyo as all the bars close tomorrow and possibly the 2nd.
Futon and buckwheat pillow = great sleep.
Uncontrollable heating = sweaty sleep.
Won't be easy — 31st and 1st. I am staying one extra day, so the night before I leave (5pm flight), I'll have a chance to be alone. And, of course, it'll be much easier once back in HK.
In a tiny town. Have barely even seen anyone outside of the family all day. And it's taking its toll. Physical fatigue is contributing to it, I'm sure.
@matigo For me it depends on what kind of cold it is. A/C cold I find rather uncomfortable compared to natural cold, even if the resulting room temperature is the same.
@matigo I deliberately underdress etc. 1) to avoid sweating and 2) to stay used to colder weather.
@matigo That's more my style. I can't stand this heat. I woke up 90 minutes into my 5.5-hour sleep last night drenched in sweat because the room was at 24ºC and I couldn't turn the A/C on or open the window.
