@matigo Ha. Driving in HK is the slowest form of transport around, walking aside, unless you live in the New Territories.
The great risk of drinking world class wine is that the alcohol is so well integrated that you don’t realise until it’s 2 glasses too late.
@matigo Interesting motivation. It does seem that journalists writing for the masses position themselves better by advocating for, rather than against, sanitising platforms (to a certain extent).
Every time I read about people worrying about YouTube’s suggestion algorithms and children, I get a little…irked. I grew up with an internet that was, by comparison, the Wild West, and I don’t like the direction things are going…
It is bizarre that I used to be so active on Twitter and now cannot even think of the kind of accounts I'd like to follow.

It is an interesting experience for one person alone to handle the buying of HKD 2 million of wine from various sources.
I don't understand how my predecessors, who had no knowledge of data manipulation/Don't Repeat Yourself, pivot tables, etc. managed this.
Pretty sure if I did this more than once a year I'd write something to figure it all out for me.
I was in the office for 4 hours this morning, of which 2 were spent in meetings (1 of which was really useful).
Then sprinted to the Grand Hyatt pool house to taste some of Tuscany’s greatest wines. Gorgeous cloudless day too. Incredibly relaxing.

It’s been years since I last walked into Cultural Centre’s Concert Hall — probably a good 8 years — but as soon as I walked in, the smell took me right back to my days of actually being in an orchestra…perhaps this isn’t the best venue technically, but I did grow up with it.
