UK border control has gotten very tight. Unfortunately, they've gotten no more polite since my last experience with them. Very annoying bunch.

Love Thalys first class. Shame I have to transfer to Eurostar 2nd class for the second leg of this journey. Think I stay in a solo seat though, which is some consolation.
Went to Bocca this morning, had an EK43 Panama Geisha espresso (2 rarities in one cup!), 2 slices of cake, and tasted their test brew (first of the day) of an Ethiopian Geisha.
They charged me 2.50€ at the end of over an hour. Huh.
Absolutely appalling that Cloak can't connect on the Thalys and Centraal wifi networks. Not sure if they're blocking VPNs or if Cloak's just being stupid.
@larand have loved it, unfortunately the only place I'll be dragging this suitcase to after this coffee is the Centraal station to head to London. It's true that one day here isn't nearly enough, but I just had to squeeze it in.
Ack, wanted to visit a second cocktail bar after dinner, but these restaurants are indulgent in their cuisine…had to cancel that, ultimately. Shame they don't open till late or I'd go tomorrow after lunch.
