@kdfrawg yes and no: it's beautiful, but because it's so full of offices, very boring at street level.

The City of London, particularly at sunset when the tall buildings light up, makes me miss HK just a bit.

A cocktail featured on a well-respected blog that covered a recent drinks fair is unavailable at this restaurant because their downstairs bar is closed on Sundays (presumably their mixologists has buggered off).

So I think I'll go to the Dandelyan bar tonight. Bus goes almost directly there, and the night is young.

Today's wine tasting was weird, and I wonder how much I'll enjoy tomorrow. So much swill, so few genuinely worthwhile bottles. And there's no way to predict.
