@kdfrawg I don't read world news — just the stuff in tech, food, drinks, and lifestyle articles. I consider daily life depressing enough without reading about even more depressing things that I can't do anything about in the form of a badly written article. I don't typically join discussions about world news, so I just stay quiet and let myself learn about it from listening to what friends say when it inevitably comes up over dinner. I rarely ever reject the chance to learn something, but there's a lot that I won't actively go looking for.
@kdfrawg I only got back into it recently because it's still the most efficient way to get a quick update on news IMO.
@kdfrawg Ironically, Ars is one of the few that don't publish complete Arse. I enjoy reading their stuff, but wish they provided full articles in RSS, even the very long posts.
@larand Waterproof a few devices and spend all day in a swimming pool.

Just nodded off watching a video. 6 hours of packing and lifting takes its toll. Time for bed.
Calculating splitting the bill tonight at the restaurant. Booked with The Fork, so we got 30% off food.
- Me: ((main+dessert)*0.7)-(wine/2)
- Waiter: So, you had the burger and the coffee, and half the wine…uhm…enters all that into the iPad sales system…uh…that's…um…
Nearly fell asleep waiting for the silly bugger.
Had a wonderful dinner and drinks with two of my closest friends here. And a quick stretch — for the first time in days. Awesome night overall, though I am both exhausted and a bit sad about having to say goodbye soon.
To the people, I mean, not to the city.
@matigo Yep. Medium boxes though, so not humungous. That's excluding the Mac Pro of course, which I'll carry myself.
