Tunnelblick is useless when waking the computer from sleep: have to manually disconnect (often takes minutes because the thing "isn't responding") and reconnect.

Dropbox really needs a way to set "priority folders" that get synced before others. The MBA, which I only use 3 days a week, needs my homework files synced before any additions to the music library…

Open kitchen, unfortunately, and the heater was on, so the entire apartment was at about 23°C all night.

Don't think I'll take the risk. I've done it with stews before (with high acidity and/or lots of chilli) with no problem, but not lasagne.

Ah. Oops. Left the lasagne on the counter overnight.

Get well soon, maybe this cold weather will kill it faster.

Someone on Reddit just asked me "Who the hell drinks gin straight?"

Er, quite a number of people, I'm sure…

Do they have particularly weak-armed students? :o

That martini was surprisingly sweet — 5:1 Plymouth gin to Noilly Prat original dry — which just goes to show my low tolerance for sweetness these days. Loving my batched Boulevardier though, with a dash of Bitter Truth orange bitters: beautifully dry, with a hint of citrus, and a herbal bitter aftertaste.
