@matigo Nothing would surprise me at this point.
Signed my termination of contract this afternoon so it's final, and will break the news to the team over Friday wine.
According to HR, it is — surprisingly — not the company's usual practice to exercise their right to clawback my payout from the pension fund. That's no guarantee that they won't do it, as nothing's in writing, but I'm assured that it's not the norm. (@matigo)
@matigo Just glad it's only the Pencil and not one of my fountain pens. Big price difference…
@sumudu I have long questioned the sanity of keeping it attached to the side of the iPad, seeing how rarely I use it.
I use an Otterbox case [otterbox.com] when taking the iPad out and the flap is big enough to wrap around the Pencil. I've only ever dropped the Pencil at home, where I don't use a case…
@variablepulserate Fairly decent at the higher levels. My colleagues at other companies whose businesses focused too much on catering to the masses suffered a great deal because of the virus (because most people heavily reduced their spending), but those who'd built a solid network of high net worth contacts weren't so bothered by the whole thing, because those people have continued spending throughout.
My next project, which is already lined up, will be the latter situation.
After dropping my Apple Pencil for the nth time, the tip has finally dented.
Sigh.
I just got made redundant, verbally.
Won't believe it until I have it in writing, but this will mean a decent payout if true. (The extent to which I don't trust this company is evident in that sentence alone….)
Timing almost could not be better: 6 weeks off for Christmas, then
