I just got made redundant, verbally. Won't believe it until I have it in writing, but this will mean a decent payout if true. (The extent to which I don't trust this company is evident in that sentence alone….) Timing almost could not be better: 6 weeks off for Christmas, then <redacted> starts. Assuming <redacted> doesn't fall through, of course, but unless multiple people are lying to me about having resigned from senior positions at a very important company, this is going ahead.
