With Atom and Sublime, with the built-in linters and proper syntax highlighting, it's doable. But I hate doing the double quotation marks.

Hmm, but YAML is a superset of JSON. I think JSON looks less ambiguous, but it's a real pain to write by hand, whereas YAML is actually quite doable.

Tab separated isn't as bad, I think. Not too many people use tabs in prose.

Any thoughts on XML vs JSON vs YAML?

What would you prefer?
