Inexplicably, for just ONE email, iOS Mail gave me the same swipe for Gmail as for Exchange (swipe right: archive).

@indigo Yes, basic sound treatment would do a lot. Where I lived in Paris, a lot of louder bars had 2 sets of doors and heavy curtains.

Nah. It's a problem that I can hear the outside world at all when I'm at home. Not having to deal with others is the whole point of being at home.
This apartment…I would never have bought, personally. Its proximity to the church and their habit of using serious amplification for their music means that the bass — and some of that awful singing — is audible.
