Heh. Grandpa just called saying his computer is so sluggish he can't use it anymore. Programs won't open.
Which seems very much like a hard drive on its way out.
Guess I'll head over after a coffee and do a bit of listening.

@matigo It is. I don't baby equipment, but it hurt when I first saw it. It's a pretty solid cabinet too.

First monitor of 2 arrived yesterday. Must've been dropped on a rock or something — the damage went through 2 layers of cardboard.
But it sounds absolutely fine, though I'm sure my ears need practice.
Wonder if I could work out a partial refund or something…
@phoneboy Uncomfortable…heh. I end up doing it most days because I'd rather do yoga than eat breakfast, and am too occupied with other things to think about lunch until 2pm…
@matigo Reminds me of a classmate whose parents looked at a property in the New Territories when it was first being built: an old-school 3-story house (used to be a cultural thing to have 1 generation on each floor, I think) that was going to be sold as 1 apartment per floor. They said they would either buy the entire thing or not at all.
I'd be envious if they weren't 45 minutes away from civilisation.

Instagram on iOS11 is a joke. Opening one notification causes all notifications to disappear; tapping on a notification when focused on the app causes the notification to disappear but the app doesn't react.
