A potential supplier invited me to have a drink at a place I’d never been to before. I usually don’t pay so I just agreed — 30 seconds from the office, and just half an hour commitment, no big.

Turns out it was a very upscale restaurant. Not just a drink, but a full 4 course dinner with 3 bottles that he’d brought along to show me.

3 hours later, I’m very full indeed.

It's so strange that the Gmail web interface can only "check email from other accounts" using POP.

It's an incredibly well designed interface, but I have about 5 Gmail accounts in constant use, so it simply can't work.

What would you recommend, a Blackberry?

I'm just waiting for the day the likes of Ubuntu get truly popular. Then things will really get fun.
