19ºC outside, but insanely hot in the apartment.

Time for a siesta, I think.

@height8 Dual boot or pure?

I only remember strawberries seeming unusually expensive.

Shame fruits tend to be quite expensive in Japan.

Likewise. I can get some basic Irish cheddar here, but nothing from NA.

and more cheese for me :)

I can't drink milk, it makes me retch. But I'm obviously not lactose intolerant, because I frequently eat 200g of cheese in a day.

After everything I've read about age taking its toll on the body, I'm quite determined to eat raw meat at least once a month (tartare, beef tataki, etc.) and maintain my spice tolerance (particularly easy with a nice Alsatian or German Gewürztraminer). Genetics may be on my side, my grandpa's 85 and still eating curry with no problems.

Capsaicin I can handle relatively well. For a curry dish I'll usually use 3 bird's eye chilis, for reference — that's about how much it takes to make me sweat just a tiny bit.

I know…buying electronics in France is hopeless. The only things I've bought locally have been kitchen items and second-hand stuff — everything else, I've had shipped in.
