@matigo Actually tasted like mixed-berries juice (blueberries, blackberries, cherries) with a wonderful black pepper spiciness and a minute hint of freshly-oiled leather.

@kdfrawg A pretty decent dinner — lobster bisque and a Cajun-spiced wet-aged steak (21 days, I think). The steak I could have done very easily myself, but the bisque was good. Wine was Penfolds 76 Shiraz Cabernet NV — had no idea Penfolds did non-vintage wines, but then they do make just about everything…bit of a fruit bomb, but very nice.
Coffee and violin music.
Then dinner with mum. Hey, at least I got to choose the restaurant…
@matigo The company I half-work for still processes payments by asking clients to write down their credit card details on a PDF that isn't a form, scan it, then email it back.
Or spell it out over the phone, which is then repeated in the office to everyone as they write it down.
Some of these clients make orders of tens of thousands at a time.
