Nope. That would be nice. It was grandma's birthday yesterday and I didn't get to call her, so I'm trying to now — it's already almost 9pm in Vancouver — and it's not working, which is making me very angry. I don't get how hard it is to maintain a damn phone.

PayPal has got me in a bad mood. Now I'm furious because I want to call my grandparents in Canada but, for whatever reason, the landline won't connect. Grandparents don't have FaceTime/WhatsApp set up and my cheap HK plan courtesy of dad doesn't include international calls.

Looks like, when I have the motivation, I'll have to set up a new PP account for HK, transfer my balance over, then close the old account.

However the hell that's done.

So much more of a pain than it needs to be. Idiots.

PayPal won't let me change my country. Apparently I'll have to close my current account and make a new one.

WELL FUCK YOU TOO.

Two whiskies on my desk: Dewar's 15yo "The Monarch" and Laphroaig PX cask triple matured.

The Dewar's tastes almost like water compared to the Laphroaig, even when I drink it first and adjust for the lack of peat. Severely lacking in complexity and length — spicy, slightly sweet, mildly viscous water. Massive quality difference.

You're doing it wrong!

No, just didn't think of it that way I suppose. I almost never eat with my parents but that's because they come back much later from work.

@kdfrawg Have read that publicising one's goals makes one more likely to accomplish them.

You're physically together but not eating together?
