Very annoying, I preferred it when tech did exactly what we told it to and not what it thought we'd like it to do…

Bumped off?

@kdfrawg It is, and totally worth the 1HKD/gram price. They also sell far more expensive beans (lots of Geisha).

And even still, it's cheaper than a Starbucks habit: these beans work out to just under 2USD/cup or double espresso.

Knockbox is probably the best roaster I know of, with Belleville in second. I've really missed their coffee.

The Finca Himalaya (El Salvador, black honey + natural process) is just an explosion of dried strawberries, apricots, peaches, with a touch of sweet earthiness, a bit of malt in the finish. Good start to the day.

@kdfrawg Heh, thanks.

It's been a struggle, but I've managed to not nap the whole day. Hopefully I'll be able to crash for a good 7 hours after this whisky — some leftover Laphroaig PX cask — and carry on tomorrow.

Especially because it's a friend's birthday party tomorrow night.

And the negotiation course is not happening. Ah well, saw that one coming…

11:15 — leave the lounge and get to the gate.11:30 — "technical problems", boarding delayed, sent back up to the lounge.11:35 — still waiting for coffee to cool down when someone came up and told us to go back down.

Billecart-Salmon though.

Now the challenge is to stay awake for 6 hours…

I have a feeling that attempting to negotiate my way into this negotiation course (whose professor doesn't allow auditing) will not succeed.

But I'll try.

People on reddit are still asking for wine suggestions for Christmas gifts.

Bottles in the 300USD range.

Like they could just pop down to the nearest store and pick one up.

I will never understand…
