But sorted it is, after a very serious call from me about respecting and maximising others' time.

No, I will not switch our newsletter composing away from a full templated emailing system (read: MailChimp) back to the Dark Ages (read: Outlook) just so you, the domain admin, can spare yourself 30 minutes updating the CNAME record so the emailing system can send with our domain.
