Uh oh…

Ahh, good to know.

The Espresso Forge, yes, but because it's the espresso version of the Aeropress, it's rather complicated to use — preheating it involves boiling a pot of water and rinsing it twice to get it hot enough. I'd like a basic lever machine with a boiler that preheats itself.

@height8 Sounds like my approach.

Ah. You have a lever machine IIRC? Have been considering getting one…but perhaps not before the move…

Played around with pure LaTeX last night and, while it's incredible for typing up revision notes/anything with creative formatting (e.g. margin notes and all that), doing a bibliography without pandoc seems almost impossible --- e.g. it took 30 minutes to find biblatex style files that worked with MHRA/Chicago (and even then it was iffy).

So it looks like I'll be on LaTeX for the fancy stuff, and MMD+LaTeX+pandoc for the academic work.

Oh, so you do go to actual cafés! :D

What's your brewing method?

Natural-processed Ethiopian coffee has to be some of the best there is. Restrained acidity, intense, succulent fruitiness, just enough floral notes to balance everything out.

It's rather out of the way and not particularly known for food, so no, I've never been.
