@hazardwarning I miss having access to a piano. We have one in HK that's horribly sticky because I'm the only one who plays it (a few weeks a year) and I dislike playing when anyone's around to listen.
That piece is really beautiful, incredibly relaxing. His Rêverie is one of my favourites to play on the violin, though my instinctive interpretation is actually a lot colder than what he probably intended it to be.

@hazardwarning Likewise, I couldn't imagine living with other people. Even spending time in HK with my parents is quite annoying now, even with all the conveniences having a maid to do…just about everything…brings.

@hazardwarning the scorch marks are a tad annoying and do tend to unsettle visitors.
My ideal home would have natural stone walls — proper 30–50cm thick stone walls that keep the temperature at a relaxing 15–18ºC. Scorch marks probably wouldn't be too much of an issue with that kind of setup.

@matigo It does, but the screen's cracked and the case dented. The hinge is a bit loose too. Suspect one of the TB ports might be failing, but I can't be sure. Shame, ever since I declared that dead I've been stuck with really shit low-res screens bought 2nd hand (knowing that I'd only be using them for 18 months). Would really love a 4k screen…maybe when I settle down.
