How else would you format a recipe, if not using bullet points and numbers?

It isn't an entirely unpleasant sensation when it does come off though, if the parts are kept well-greased. //

It…resembles that, yes. Minus the silly hat. //

@kdfrawg Heh, will do, thanks.

Ah.

I do like those old bikes. They feel a lot sturdier than most of the modern ones. Simpler parts.

Same number, or counting inflation?

I shipped my 2 chains over from Paris. Probably 3kg in total. If it worked there, it'll probably suffice here. Might get a U-lock though, to go with the larger chain, and use the smaller one to permanently lock the saddle on.

Also, that test ride made me quite dizzy. Still drained from being ill, 10 minutes at normal speed really took its toll on me and I felt nearly asthmatic when I got back. It's also been a while since I've been on a bike, and ages since I've been on such a light one.

Just bought a bike. It'll be ready on the 10th.

400£…not bad, I guess, for a touring bike. Better than waiting 20 minutes for a bus anyway, even if riding on cobblestones is enough to make my hands go numb.

@kdfrawg There is a lot to be said for being assertive; it's a freedom I've come to enjoy and take for granted since moving to Europe. Very different in Asian cultures though, often to the detriment of progress… //
