So China now has this "social credit" thing which basically means handing over encryption keys, and the UK has managed to get sometthing similar [rss.slashdot.org] into its own system.
@skematica Like most of the population :P I've never had mixed feelings about either, but I do prefer mezcal for its extra complexity.
In fact, I bought one bottle last night. Of 600 in the batch.

@skematica Speaking of Mexican, we just had the most shot- and cocktail-filled tequila and mezcal tasting I've ever attended.
And it was wonderful, even if it was all out of plastic shot glasses.
It's rare that I decline a drinks pairing over dinner, but honestly, "Classic Muscadet Sèvre et Maine" — no vintage, no producer — brings back awful memories of Paris.
Their glassware is acceptable though. That said, anyone ordering white wine or beer gets an inferior glass, and I wonder what that's intended to suggest :o
