I finally came this close to accurately guessing the whisky's region and ABV tonight (blind tasting).
I guessed: lightly peated Highlands whisky, 45% ABV.
Answer: Wolfburn. Highlands, 46% ABV.
@kdfrawg These crashes happen every few weeks, and I almost never add or remove peripherals (the most I ever do, really, is plug in a thumbdrive or the phone). Can rule that out.
The hardware test, as @matigo suggested, I'll do the next time I'm forced to restart.
@kdfrawg There's no regularity to any of it, unfortunately. There's probably some hardware that's starting to die.
@matigo Connected to a UPS, so power should be fine. Video card…maybe, not sure. I do occasionally have the 4k screen black out for a few seconds.

Twice in a day. That hasn't happened in a while.
And should never happen.
@peemee Clementine, Audirvana, and a few others read folder structure and metadata. Audirvana builds a library file, but only so it doesn't have to do a lot of work every time you play a track.
