Well done if you live long enough to have a 1000th anniversary. The rest of us have to content ourselves with far fewer. ಠ_ಠ

Oh my, I think I finally made decent roti tonight. A lot of kneading, but more importantly more oil than I dared use in the past. Wonder if using hot water helped as well.

@kdfrawg It's not reproducible either. Sigh.

Vivaldi seems to have a bug where if I search then go to a result, clicking "back" takes me to the start page — the history is lost. WTF?

I'm sure they have, but the public transportation companies are suppressing it.

That should keep most of them out :P

A BBS…very nice.

Going to try and catch up on the various feeds I've neglected this week while I wait for the naan dough to rise.

Going to attempt aloo naan today, a dish I haven't tasted in many years…

Always amazed to see how much academic writing has changed in the last few centuries. Not a lot accessible from before 1900, but I just found a thesis on Arabic as spoken in Beirut — 104 pages handwritten (presumably because of the amount of Arabic in it). No bibliography because it was a totally unexplored area at the time: just a page of "professors I consulted during my year in Beirut". Heh.
