@c But they generate sales.

@matigo Indeed. Notifications exist to stop us from completely losing track of time.
Then again, this is a person who thinks Word is the easiest tool out there to construct HTML emails.
I appreciate some people have very busy schedules, but over 1 hour late for a phone conference and I only found out because I messaged saying "Ready when you are" at the originally scheduled time…
Waste of an afternoon…
@streakmachine Yeah it's quite difficult because I want to start packing before mum gets here, but she'll be bringing a few suitcases to take back when we fly, so I'm not actually sure how much to pack for shipping and how much I can stuff into the suitcases.
This EasyJet moron's holding an Ethernet cable in his hands like he wants to use them as shoelaces but can't figure out how.
Don't understand how boarding can take this long.
@streakmachine Hope next week's alright.
It'll only get worse for me from here. Have to pack up the apartment to ship to HK. And deal with mum, arriving in 5 days.
Hamburg's buses today are like Paris'.
And no updates on either Google or the official HVV app…which actually makes it worse than Paris.
One thing that prevents me from reading relatively well-written news, particularly when it concerns political matters, is that I find it hard to take an emotional author seriously. I get that it appeals to the masses but it seriously gets in the way of analysis once name-calling, and conclusions whose premises are simply assumed etc. come in.
Easy to find "fancy" restaurants in Hamburg, hard to find ones that don't just copy cocktail menus from the neighbouring dive bar (Smirnoff and flavoured Absolut?…Canadian Club in an Old Fashioned?)
Haven't seen a decent wine list either, despite the markup being right on par with London.
