I think oboe is the only instrument I can't play for more than 5 minutes without feeling like I'm going to pass out…

I do sometimes wonder what the broader long-term consequences for this kind of mindset will be — a mindset where consumers are so brainwashed(?) by (invisible) lax developers and data-hungry trackers that they never expect the UX to get any faster even as hardware continues to improve every year.

I get the feeling WhatsApp doesn't play nicely with iOS 15's focus modes. Phone started vibrating for absolutely no reason that I could see yet I knew it could only be a missed call (the only time my phone vibrates consistently). On the second call, the video chat notification managed to display.

This one's pretty good. I use a book stand rather than the screw-in leg it comes with (feels a tad flimsy but good for travel). Single Y-cable (HDMI and USB) to power it though I can't seem to find braided replacements.

Dasung Paperlike HD. 13 inches only but very portable, which makes me wonder if I'd take it with me on any extended trip.
