A lot of people in China just throw a bunch of leaves into a bottle and fill it up with just-off-the-boil water, and carry it around all day.

Yes, I have some rather unpleasant memories of accidentally turning on a hotel TV in Tokyo.

My biggest issue with these now-regular dinners at the grandparents’ is not the obscene amount of time I’m spending not alone, but the TV that’s always on. Channels upon channels of morons talking to a laugh and applause track, as if anything they ever said deserved either of those things. Hard to tune out too.

I suppose I do that occasionally. Most of the people I spend any time with, I wouldn’t mind having over and making coffee for myself. Mainly it’s my dislike for paying for relatively simple things.

How about cold-brewing some tea?

Precisely why I can't justify going out for coffee anymore.

After reading this [thenextweb.com], I'm not sure I understand how Apple can do anything about something that needs to be updated router-side.

Slightly unrelated: I'm surprised no one's cracked Dawsonera's DRM yet.

Which one's this? :o

I have "How does a moment last forever" stuck in my head tonight.

Not a bad thing, necessarily.
