Dear god. Just messaged the IT guy to ask about the situation — I was hoping he'd be home and packing, etc. since it's 10:20pm — and he said he was only 70% done.

Not impressed with how my side handled things today. His staying late is a direct consequence of that.

A certain colleague at work is making me lose any trust I once had for him. We had a meeting on Monday and agreed on responsibilities for getting things sorted out before the Christmas closure; he came in this morning — the IT guy's last day, and he's the only one who can do all the digital marketing prep, which is the foundation of this business — and berated me for not having done what I (and the intern who sat in on that meeting) had understood to be his responsibility. So it was an unpleasant afternoon, and the poor IT guy, who's flying out tomorrow and still hasn't packed, probably won't make it home until 10pm.

I refuse to micromanage and pester — that's something to do with young, forgetful children, or grandparents — or be his personal assistant.

The only question, though, is how to let him give himself a taste of the water without allowing him to take the entire ship down.

height8 has it all worked out: no hair to wash, and plenty of coffee to make up for any differences in any matter.

A shot of whisky suppresses coughing just long enough for me to fall asleep. Just putting that out there.

iOS Outlook has no way to disable auto-loading remote images. This is not good.

Oh dear lord, the boss just brought up the idea of integrating Slack into our workflow! Struggled to keep the surprise off my face.

@kdfrawg Matcha ice cream is something else though. Black tea ice cream maybe not.

Häagen-Dazs has come out with a mochi green tea flavour. Hmm. ?

Unfold amounts of good wine and more cigars than I’ve ever smoked in one night.
