@height8 Wow. I can't type on QWERTY without wrist strain anymore — been on Dvorak for too long (and probably for the best). I'm quite iffy with numbers unless it's on a numpad…but then I don't deal with numbers a lot.

I should do a WPM test soon. Haven't in a while.

@height8 On QWERTY? :o

A long time ago, it was…sigh.

@height8 So…tempted…but it's definitely for a more creative style of writing than I usually do…

Bit disappointing they don't give choices for the switches. Brown is nice, but red is even nicer IMO.

Best for the wallet, in the end…

I can send some bits your way if you really insist!

And Nozomi is on the chase!

Wow. I did this just as a completely random idea, yet the intro soundtracks to both films — music by the same composer — differ only in structure (one is ABA, the other ABC), and key. But even the key part is too good to be coincidence: One is in the relative minor of the other. Both use roughly the same set of instruments.

Time not wasted.

I swear, this is mental: having established that music is an important part of a director's filmic universe, I'm now analysing the intro music for two films — and trying to remember everything I learnt in music theory more than 5 years ago and have never since revised — in order to compare and contrast two directors' universes.

I don't think I've ever properly thanked for his amazing work.

"So cheers," he said, with a glass of (absolutely wonderful) whisky.

It bugs me that Google's search categories (All, Images, Videos, Books, etc.) change order depending on the search term. It's all about muscle memory for me — I don't read half the text when navigating sites that I use all the time.

Yeah, I use Google. Scholar and Books, mainly.
