@height8 Indeed, but what would have been the best thing to do, in hindsight?
Put some sausages in the toaster oven. Heard gentle popping, thought the sausages were splitting or something. Opened the door and saw some orange flashing — either the heating element, or oil was igniting when it came into contact with the element. Have never pulled a plug so quickly in my life :o
@height8 That's the size of my entire fridge-freezer…then again I never did agree with the guy who designed this apartment, and if I were genuinely staying longer I'd sort it out.
@height8 @matigo Thanks :) It'll pass, and thankfully it hasn't affected my sense of smell as much as it might have.
For a while, I managed to keep my bedtime early. Being sick, as I currently am, seems to have messed with that. Ah well.
@matigo Taylor Swift's music isn't unbearable, but I agree that most of modern music is quite unfortunate.
