Could be quite a feast tonight: "shepherd's pie" made with gizzards, chicken liver, and ground beef, followed by crepes with jam and possibly bananas as well, then some of that Stilton.
Revising all the while, of course…I think.
Seems strange to get all this heavy stuff that I'll have to ship to wherever I go next, but hopefully the stuff I'm buying now will last for many years to come. Have wanted a nice cast iron pan for a few years now, but shipping was always a deal breaker (and understandably so).

@JeremyCherfas I normally slow cook tough cuts, but they're so full of flavour it'd be nice if I could find a way to cook them rare. Would also make for a quicker meal :P
