Bordeaux day trip booked. 62€ return trip, first class both ways (in both cases it was only a few € more than second class, and as one's a 6:50am train and I get back to Paris at midnight, I think first class is worth the extra space and quiet).

I don't follow oO

Made chocolate banana cake today (overripe bananas again. Why won't supermarkets stock green ones?)

Now have the unused banana in slices in the oven. Chips.

Friend (who's supposed to come tomorrow from Munich): Considering rescheduling my flight, all the news shows flooding.
Me: You could just ask me how it really is instead of swallowing everything the media throws at you.
Him: Yeah…

This is genuinely the most disgusting foie gras mi-cuit I have ever tasted. Grainy in texture and just…tasteless.

No wonder they came in vacuum packs of 2 at such a good price.

In whose world is English a sensible language? :o

Hmm, must be different in the UK.

This is rather annoying.

I may, in future, just have them shipped to HK and bring them back myself/ask my parents to send them over as gifts.

Huh, I think I'll ask them to use USPS from now on. Pretty sure I've had a few packages shipped from the US without being charged anything on arrival in the past 3 years.

Aw damnit DHL.

For the first time ever, I'm being asked to pay custom's fees.

This'll be an interesting year.
