Well, there's one advantage to my having walked around in wet shoes for 6 hours: the callus on my toe has just peeled off, which should improve comfort greatly.
Feedly is fucking useless as an RSS reader. Every time I switch back to it, it "loads updates". Surely the point of a RSS reader is to be able to load once and read through to the end even with a spotty connection?
Also glaring at iOS Google Inbox.
All Apple's doing, of course. Background downloads may take a lot of battery, but this precious US company doesn't seem to grasp that most of Europe has appalling data reception, especially where it's most needed, like in the metro. First world cities indeed.
@indigo I'll have a look at how that might affect the battery. Might be easier to just give it to Apple. // @jpa @kdfrawg
@kdfrawg @jpa Very strange — it's the only thing that doesn't work. The home button itself works fine. Not much I can do about it till Monday — if by then it's not working, I guess I'll have to go to the Apple Store.
Uh oh, Touch ID has stopped working. Did I get the phone too wet this afternoon? :/
@matigo I'm quite glad that I finished that coffee a while ago. You've really put me off having another one. ?
Walked into this cafe and went straight to the toilet. Wrung my socks out and now my feet do feel slightly better. Think I'll go for a short walk and have a look at this wine bar, now that it's stopped raining.
