For the past few hours I've been sure that I could smell something…weird…but so faintly that it might have been sweat, or something coming from the outside.

Just went to check the gas canister that was connected to my blowtorch (figured I use it often enough that I might as well keep it on) and the flow wasn't at absolute minimum — but not high enough to make any sound either.

Might've been that.

Huh.

Good luck with that… :o

might like this.

You seem to be doing that quite well. At least you don't seem to have too many language barriers.

Well, that's annoying.

Advantageous for us, since we're not in it.

Only for certain currencies. Euro–pound is not favourable, but HKD–pound is very favourable. Just need to wait for mum to wake up so she can call the HK bank and get some currency exchanged.

I would very much like to see that happen, actually. London, Scotland, Ireland, and Wales all stay in the EU, while the rest of England goes off on its own.

Funny, just read about the possibility of London voting to leave the UK. Its economy is comparable to the whole of Sweden's, which is apparently one of the things that would make it a possibility.

If it is, the Commonwealth freedom of movement surely has to succeed, or we'll be back in a world where visas are needed to get anywhere.
