After-party turned out to be…not much of anything. No one was even there. So I saved my money and had a long walk home. Need to be energetic for tomorrow's dinner anyway, I shall need to at least give the impression of being somewhat intelligent.
And it looks like there's an afterparty. Quite tired, and I do need to be up tomorrow (as well as have dinner with a guest speaker!), so I think I'll have a nice stroll there, have one drink (if that), then call it a day, and make up for productivity tomorrow.
Quite a tasting today. No spitoons and everything was served in plastic shot glasses.
Nice to catch up with people I first met in Marseille though, and at a much calmer event (this one was only open to those in the trade).
