What a wonderful tasting.
Made better by the invitation to the dinner (in 40 mins) by one of the guys at Château Ksara and the offer for 2–3 bottles of wine to take with me. He doesn't give a damn because they've all already been taken out of the inventory and accounted for for the day of tasting.
Back in Glasgow, actually staying 2 nights this time.
Would've been feasible to get the train every day, but that wouldn't allow for much wriggle room.
Woke up with the tiniest something-like-a-hangover. Probably half from last night and half from just not sleeping enough these past few nights. Coffee + paracetamol consumed.
And a day of resting my taste buds in preparation for tomorrow, Friday, and Saturday…
Tumi bag arrived today. Had been contemplating getting one for a few months, and then I saw the most suitable one for me on Amazon for £60 cheaper than normal…not that my Billinghams are getting replaced anytime soon — I just wanted a slimmer bag for daily use.
