@matigo Hmm, maybe a nice and noisy blade.
@matigo Can’t remember but unlikely as Chinese New Year would be the tome for that
So many places in HK I’ve never seen. Decided to take a few new routes today…messed up just a little by not realising that this pier only has 1 ferry every 30 minutes, as opposed to every 10.
Think I’ll go to an island I haven’t been to in 10 years tomorrow.
Went to the other apartment to clean up a bit. Discovered a plastic tub filled with leaky wine bottles. Rescued what I could, including a bottle of Quinta do Noval 1970 vintage, and a bottle of Camus Napoléon cognac — half of which had been lost to evaporation. Saving the port for another night (I'm optimistic, given how hardy this stuff is). The Camus tastes like it's at best 30% ABV now but the flavours and aromas are still stunning…perfect with some cheese to end a grimy night of wiping mould and goopy vinegar off fragile labels.
Sichuan food for dinner.
Haven’t done this in a long time. Just an hour of my mouth half numb and smouldering from the chilli and pepper. Beautiful flavours: citrus and flowers with a hint of pithy bitterness once past the fire.
Now off to one of my favourites for dessert and cocktails.
@matigo Yearly maintenance.
You forget, it’s never cold enough to need heating in HK. It’s 22°C and sunny today. Having scheduled maintenance in summer is what would be unbearable.
Scheduled power cut in 12 hours.
I’m out all day and night which means I have to shut down now.
The problem is that shutting down all this stuff takes a while…
