Burgundy is just ridiculously expensive now. Wine of the evening for me, from a horizontal of Charmes-Chambertin 2015 was Dugat-Py, but totally unjustifiable at USD 550.

- Me: Last I heard from $J, yes [$J sits 1 table over]
- $S: Can you check with $J?
- Me: Why don't we just ask $J now?
- $S: Because $J is busy…anyway, can you check?
All that oxygen when it would have sufficed to send a message on our chat.
But one teaches by example, so I started a group chat between the 3 of us and sent the message.
@phoneboy The only thing it lacks, for me, is delayed sending. I like airmail because I can by default give myself a 30 second window to cancel a message.
I sort of hate to admit that Outlook on Mac may be the best email client.
A few very illogical keyboard shortcuts aside.
One deal-breaker for me is if there's no keyboard shortcut and nice interface to move messages to folders. Which is, amazingly, not a feature of Mail.app.
Airmail's nice but a damn sluggish experience, and torturous with longer threads.
Reading wine reports is infuriating. "Volume in thousands of hectoliters" — why can't we all just use scientific notation and SI units?…
