Update: it’s delicious. The matcha just deepens the dairy sweetness a little, and the Laphroaig really shows through.
@matigo It’s all the rage in Melbourne. Everywhere has matcha lattes, milkshakes, etc.
I usually just like matcha by itself but I could be swayed, potentially, if it’s with a nice whisky…
Rather excited: first time I’ve seen Laphroaig, cream, and matcha in a cocktail together.
Could be rubbish too, of course. Most bars overdo it with the citrus, or end up diluting way too much (and this one has soda water…)
@matigo The Google Calendar problem has been a thing for a while now…but yes, being away from a wired computer is not easy.
Adding an event in Google Calendar for iOS is becoming impossible. Its attempts to actively look up past event names and possible locations based on current input whilst typing into the event name field almost crashes the app.
@jws Will have a look, thanks. Shame more browsers don’t have a low-bandwidth mode.
In any case, all this becomes irrelevant by Saturday 7am.
