@gtwilson If I had nothing to do but be efficient in single documents, I’d stick with vim, no question. It’s pretty much just the org mode in emacs that’s tempting me.
Really, what I might end up doing is taking my notes in emacs org, then writing the academic markdown (= Markdown + LaTeX -> pandoc) in vim. We’ll see how it goes…
