During today's tasting I described the Stanton & Killeen Topaque NV as having aromas of "matcha mochi, straw, tatami, gyokuro."
I thought it was the 6 hours of tasting finally catching up to me, but recorded it anyway, until one of the MWs hosting commented on how she always tasted chamomile tea in Muscadelle Topaques, and another later told me she smelt oolong tea in it.
Not so far off after all(?)
Seriously affordable wine too…
