Picked up my dip pens tonight, just for fun. I used to find the Nikko G a really lovely nib to write with, but now it feels absolutely impossible to use. Likewise with the Gillott 404. Then I put the 303 in and realised: those nibs are too stiff.

Weird. They're all at least as flexible, if not far more so, than any fountain pen nib. But there's something amazing about the 303, at least with the way I write. Effortless line variation.

Not that I do anything fancy. I just find that flex nibs are less tiring to write with, and a whole lot more fun.
