@matigo The advantage of academia, and research in general, is that there's no boss to breathe down your neck, and no one's unusable code to deal with (Word documents aside).
Quite the opposite actually. I'm breathing down people's neck to get approval for a proposed project…and until then there's not much to do but twiddle my thumbs and a few other things.
