Due to a slight miscommunication, I arrived an hour early to dinner.
Normally annoying, but in this case I got to taste all the champagnes they had — including ones that they weren't going to serve officially — before dinner, and have a second glass of each during and after.
Then I went for a martini in Dukes Bar, so that makes 10 glasses of champagne and 1 insanely strong martini over 6 hours.
Thankfully there's a direct bus back to my cousin's. Back to Dukes tomorrow for drinks with a friend now studying here.
Despite all of its problems and this obsession with CCTV, London may be one of my favourite cities in the world, just for all it has to offer. On par with HK — together they probably make up 2 of the world capitals.
