Macchiato's super-minimalist UI could actually come in handy in low-bandwidth/anywhere in the U.K. outside of London situations.
Wonder if @jws would consider keeping it in as an option/mode down the line, perhaps playing a bit more with alignment and grey scale text for ease of reading.
