Rushed off to the police HQ to get this pointless registration done before my first apartment viewing. They told me it was closed today because they'd all gone to various universities to do the registrations — not one person had thought to stay behind. No information on their website, no signs, nothing. 30 minutes on a bus wasted. Imbeciles, the lot of them.

@kdfrawg The best and least risky way to do it. I like remembering what I drink.

@kdfrawg Hopefully. The building was finished a year ago, so both of our HK apartments pale in comparison — there's almost as much glass as an Apple Store. My only worry is that I won't want to leave after a short year!

Wow, the Quartermile apartments are beautiful.

Put in an application for one. Surprisingly not as expensive as I thought they'd be, after seeing a few other similarly priced apartments in other areas, though still very expensive.

So anyone buying that ticket can only lose. Huh.

how does that happen?!

Good coffee, amazing breakfasts, and Beach Boys.

Gets me every time.

3 apartment viewings tomorrow, and an appointment with the bank (luckily the people who run this place have a contact at RBS who can expedite the process, and I should have everything ready by the end of the week instead of by the end of 3 weeks).

Think it's time to get some sleep.

But who suffers from a ruined planet? At that point, everyone will probably just stop reproducing, knowing that any new offspring won't be able to survive; those who gave birth to that generation won't be around to see it anyway, and so probably won't have any regrets about it — they'll die knowing that they had the experience of bringing children up etc.
