Conclusion after a day's use: Sublime Text is much better than Atom. The plugins especially. Or maybe I missed something with Atom. Anyway, there's no getting around that "replace in selection" bug.
11am and I think I've done all the work (for the dissertation) that I need to do today…probably do some revision after lunch…I really dislike exams.
Been getting up around 8:30–9 these past few weeks. But I have a 6:50am train on Tuesday, so it looks like I'll be caffeinating myself after just 5 hours of sleep tomorrow. Absolutely must adjust.
@matigo I used vim but ultimately the difficulty of getting panels just the way I like them, and a real file tree sidebar, put me firmly back into the realm of GUI editors. But if I'm ever on a computer that isn't my own, or just want to scare people away enough that they don't pester me with questions, I'll use vim.
Atom editor's find/replace in selection bug is driving me insane. Time to give Sublime another go.
